Wafer bonding: This is used to create a reference vacuum chamber. A silicon wafer with micromechanical structures is bonded and sealed to another glass or silicon wafer under vacuum to form a reference vacuum chamber.
Temperature and pressure compensation: To ensure output accuracy across the full temperature and pressure ranges, a temperature sensor and dedicated compensation circuitry are integrated on the chip.
Robust packaging: The packaging must not only protect the fragile MEMS chip but also accurately transmit external pressure to the sensing diaphragm while ensuring sealing and long-term stability.
